Indie is a term that has been thrown around a lot in the last couple of years. This word is a short form of “independent”. Indie tends to be different, more creative, open minded and attached to nature, look at it like modern hippies. This Indie movement originated in the music and film industries. Independent movies and music did not have the financial support because it was different, not much of the population were interested in this type of music or films. And like any other movement there was a fashion sense attached to it.
My look isn't extreme-indie. But somehow I just relate it to that movement.
Some of today's big Indie influence style icons are Zooey Deschanel, Kirsten Dunst and the Olsen twins.

Indie es un término que ha sido utilizado mucho en los últimos años. Esta palabra es una forma corta de "independiente". Independiente tiende a ser diferente, más creativo, de mente abierta y apegado a la naturaleza, se podría considerar hippies modernos. Este movimiento independiente se originó en la industria de la música y el cine. Películas y música Indie no tenía el apoyo financiero, ya que era diferente, poco gente estaban interesados en este tipo de música o películas. Y al igual que cualquier otro movimiento había un sentido de la moda que se le atribuye.
Mi look no es muy Indie. Pero de alguna manera, se relaciona con ese movimiento.
